   Guatemalan lawmaker and three police officers killed in armed attack in Zacapa

   What changed Lawmaker Julio Cesar Portillo Paz and three police officers were killed in an armed attack in Rio Hondo, Zacapa, President Bernardo Arevalo said. Portillo Paz was attacked on Friday and taken to hospital with serious injuries, and his party UNE later confirmed his death. Arevalo condemned the violence and ordered security forces to help identify those responsible.

   Impact Four people, including a sitting lawmaker, were killed in eastern Guatemala.
